So far, all I can show is some pictures of the coils I've been testing:

That was the first coil I built "for real". It has about 750 turns of 19 awg wire, ~0.25 ohms.

The next coil I built was intended to study the effect of changing the balance point of the field closer to one extremity of the coil. It has the same 19 wire, about 750 turns and 0.25 ohms.
